We are now just a few weeks away from April’s NFL Draft, and as the big day draws near, that means a few things. More rumors will be swirling than ever. Rumors which can impact the NFL Draft odds and expanded NFL Draft betting markets.
This year it feels like we’ve seen more odds movement than ever when it comes to the first overall pick. When the Carolina Panthers first acquired the No. 1 overall pick from the Chicago Bears, C.J. Stroud became the big favorite to be the first player selected. However, recent reports have Bryce Young as the Panthers’ preferred choice and the market quickly shifted.
In Version 3.0 of my 2023 NFL mock draft the Panthers get their guy — but is it Stroud or Yo…
Last week was a bad week for the NFL betting public. That often means a good week for NFL underdogs.
According to our Covers Consensus data, teams drawing 60% or more of picks in their respective matchups went 0-7 against the spread.
Most of those popular picks were set as point-spread favorites by the NFL odds, which means pups popped off in Week 7. The official tally was an 8-5 ATS finish for underdogs.
Before Week 7, the “public” was beating up the bookies as teams drawing 60% or more of picks were covering at a 60% clip. And with public players gravitating toward stronger sides — most often favorites — it left underdogs to go just 40-47-4 ATS in the first six weeks of the season (46%).

The Philadelphia Eagles head to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers in what is the final game of Super Wild Card weekend.
The Eagles cruised through the first 12 games of the season before stumbling to a 1-4 record down the stretch. Jalen Hurts’ play has been sporadic and the defense has been gashed consistently.
Conversely, the Bucs come into this game as winners of five of their last six. They are NFC South champions and a team with plenty of confidence and momentum.
Can the Bucs’ good play continue? Or will the Eagles find a way to snap out of their funk?
While there are a number of different subscription-based TV channels and streaming services available to watch this game… did you know that you can also live stream Eagles/Buccaneers direct…
Monday Night Football features two Heisman-winning quarterbacks from LSU when Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals host Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
Burrow, the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner, is trying to get Cincinnati out of a 0-2 hole on the season while Daniels, who “struck a pose” last year for Louisiana State, is coming off his first victory as a pro.
I break down the NFL props odds for both QBs and give my best Commanders vs. Bengals predictions and NFL picks and predictions for September 23.

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are close to agreeing a fee for Jadon Sancho, with the England forward having agreed personal terms on a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Both clubs are understood to be confident a deal to make Sancho the most expensive English player in history is nearing completion, with United expected to pay an initial £90m (€100m) over three annual instalments and a further £18m in performance-related add-ons. Dortmund would prefer to have the transfer completed by next week to help them bring in a replacement.

“It takes a little time to work out the significance,” Ivan Gazidis says as, in his role as the chief executive of Milan, he describes his emotions after the club won their first Serie A title in 11 years the weekend before last. Gazidis held a similar position at Arsenal for 10 years before leaving London amid accusations that the club stagnated during his tenure. He has led a far more impressive resurgence at Milan where a bold plan has been vindicated.
After watching Milan win their final game of the season, 3-0 away to Sassuolo, Gazidis remembers that “you’re straight into euphoria and joy but you then realise this is quite a monumental achievement not just for what we’ve done but how we’ve done it – which is very different…
Kylian Mbappé’s representatives have dismissed reports that the Paris Saint-Germain forward has agreed a move to Real Madrid, and insisted they have yet to begin talks over his future.
Mbappé confirmed last summer that he would not take up the option of a one-year contract extension at the Parc des Princes. The 25-year-old’s deal expires at the end of June, meaning he is now able to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside France.

Reports over the weekend suggested that long-term suitors Real had finally agreed terms with his representatives over a move. However, Mbappé’s camp distanced itself from those re…
The 2017-18 season is exactly three weeks old today. That seems like as good a time as any to take a look around the league, see how everybody’s doing, and rank the 30 teams by their relative strength. Onward, to the rankings! 1. Golden State Warriors …
Some people are fans of the Indianapolis Colts. But many, many more people are NOT fans of the Indianapolis Colts. This 2019 Deadspin NFL team preview is for those in the latter group. Read all the previews so far here. Your team: You killed him. Your 2018 record: 10-6. After a 1-5 start where it looked like new head coach Frank Reich was in way over his head ( and he was), the Colts ripped off nine wins in 10 games, frogstomped the Texans in their house in the wild card round, and then got ritually sacrificed to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to close out their season. I have said on this site, many times, that Andrew Luck’s career was over and that this team was responsible for murdering it. I was genuinely pleased to be wrong about that. For one year. We got one last, nice year o…
Tempers appear to be hot all throughout the NFL this afternoon, as not long after A.J. Green went full GSP on Jalen Ramsey in Jacksonville, the Buccaneers’ Mike Evans came out of nowhere to lay a cheap shot on the Saints’ Marshon Lattimore during a stoppage in play in New Orleans. Lattimore was exchanging words near the sideline with an injured Jameis Winston when Evans decided to just smash himself into the Saint’s back, sparking some shoving between both teams. Somehow, neither Evans nor anybody else got ejected, but that doesn’t affect the balance of the game much either way. The Bucs, already almost out of the playoff picture, are currently down 30-3. …
